Hx2 provide audio equipment hire and installations. Equipment can be hired with or without sound engineering support from experienced technicians.
We have PA speaker systems, microphones and lighting for hire suitable for all forms of live music, discos and conferences.

We have been working in and around Leicester for around a decade providing audio equipment and technical expertise to regular customers including; Leicester City FC, De Montfort University Students Union, Leicester Comedy Festival, The Highcross Centre, Tamworth Snowdome, Myango Hotel and Restaurant, The Auditorium, Leicester City Rooms, Leicester Guidhall, The Princess Charlotte and Streetvibe Young Peoples Services.

Artists we have worked with include Example, Lee Scratch Perry, Maxi Priest, Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, Free Control and many more.

James came to Leicester from his native Nuneaton to study Music Technology at Leicester College and DeMontfort University, gaining BTEC, HND and BSc (hons) qualifications. From meeting Craig at college, James co-founded Hx2 Productions.

James’s experience includes:

Delivering, setting up and operating soundsystems for Cancer Research UK ‘Race For Life’ events all over the UK. Working as the sole audio and lighting technician for Count Arthur Strong’s ‘Command Performance’ 2012 UK tour and working as a house technician at Leicester’s O2 Academy, DeMontfort Hall and Auditorium Venues, as well as a whole host of freelance sound engineering work in and around Leicester.

Craig has lived in Leicester all his life and studied at Leicester College and DeMontfort University where he gain both a HND and BSc (Hons) in Music Technology and Innovations. It was during this time at Leicester College where he met James and they went on to co-found Hx2 Productions.

Craig has a strong intention to deliver high quality audio equipment and audio engineering services, which can easily be achieved with personal traits such as a fast and methodical approach to troubleshooting, an attention to detail and a drive that strives for excellence.

Craig’s experience includes:

Working as a house technician for DeMontfort Hall, The Auditorium, The Charlotte and many more. Craig has worked with artist such as Example, The Buzzcocks, Lee Scratch Perry, Sea Sick Steve, The Coral, Free Control and many more. Craig has also worked as an assistant station producer at 105.4 Leicester Sound.
